No matter what bookkeeping processes you have in place, when it comes to onboarding,all new clients are onboarded in a similar way. You need to collect some general information about their company, prepare a proposal based on their needs, get the first payment, and then add them to your main recurrent processes. Organizers are much more convenient than regular PDF forms because your clients don’t need any other software to complete them. For example, you can request business documents and company info before sending your clients a proposal —copy the Business Documents Required organizer template from our library and edit it as needed.

Oftentimes, you need to ask your clients questions about various entries – like “Hey, what was this $100 transaction for?” In TaxDome, you can have all this back-and-forth in one place thanks to the messaging/chats feature.

Firms are different, so when you provide bookkeeping services, you usually can’t send them proposals via automation. Instead, you can have a list of services with prices and a general proposal template that is manually edited for every unique client.
